The boys of summer?

Spring is here, at least in name only. That can only mean one thing in our family... BASEBALL!! We have played just a few games so far, most of them with me wearing heavy coats and covering up with blankets. I can't complain too much, I've developed some wonderful friendships from my years of freezing my butt off (or sweating, depending on the weather) at the baseball fields. TJ has been playing with the JV and sophomore teams so far. He has gained enough of a reputation that he is making a little money giving private lessons to younger players.

In the beginning...

A little background on my family of 5. Robby and I are going on 17 years of marriage with 3 great kids to show for it. TJ will be 16 in less than a month (if you are a driver in Northwest Arkansas my apologies now), Taylor is 13 and very full of herself, and our Alyssa is the typical baby of the family. I thought this blog would be a great way of keeping friends and family updated on current events with our family and let them enjoy some of the calamities that always seem to follow our family.
